Who we are

Near Mint hospitality is a small group of unique venues held together by the shared ideals of care for customer experience, creating the perfect ambience, and crafting beautiful hospitality for people in venues.

Since the founding of Clever Little Tailor in 2013, directors Dana Whyte and Marshall King have been working together to this end, and continued in this vein by opening Pink Moon Saloon in 2015.

Henry Holland has since joined the group, bringing with him his vibrant enthusiasm for wine and restaurant service, along with his exceptional palate. 

Boutique distillery brand Brighter Later was developed and launched as a creative outlet for the group in 2022, providing an avenue for the ongoing creation of small-batch products for use in venue and sale to the public.

In 2023 the burgeoning group opened Longplay Bistro on Pirie St, finally realising a latent desire to offer their unique brand of casual but refined service in a bistro format.
